High octane Spartans jump out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and sail past the Hawks, 47-7.

QB Anton McCallum (#1)  was hounded all evening long by a tenacious Spartans defense. Last minute personnel changes forced the Hawks to make some adjustments; in one case, Soph. LB Rashaud Westbrook (#5) had to line up as a defensive back  After allowing one long reception, Senior DB William Braxton (#9) was outstanding in pass coverage for the Hawks.
