Scrimmage @ McLean (Aug. 27th)

Good scrimmage by our Hawks against the Highlanders - Offense getting in sync - Defense continues to improve!

(Above L. to R.)  Junior LB Justin Marshall intercepts a pass and brings it deep into McLean territory.  A McLean ball-carrier looks for running room. Sophomore RB Steve Lynch breaks through the line for a nice gain.  Another pick for a Hawks DB. Playing conditions were a bit muggy.

A Highlander ball-carrier finds the going tough. Lynch breaks into the open for another Hawks score. DE Fabian Fells.

(Above) Anton McCallum picks off his first pass of the scrimmage and returns it all the way for a score....well,  it looked like he made it in; he was ruled down at the one yard line where his knee touched.  What do you think? (5th photo) McCallum picks off his second pass and heads to the end zone for an apparent TD; however, it was called back due to a penalty.
