Hayfield Hawks Football - Photo Gallery 2009

An Eventful evening as the team, coaches, parents and supporters celebrated "A Year to Remember." The festivities were held in the Ft. Belvoir Officers Club beautifully decorated for the Holiday Season.

(L. to R.) Coach Roy Hill. Billy Pugh, with his wife Nancy, addresses those in attendance. Team varsity managers present Coach Pugh with a blanket marking the season's accomplishments.  Twelve miniature helmets were handed for top performances during the season. Helmet plaques were given to those players who received all-district honors (Note:  These plaques are painstakingly put together by Mr. Brian Fields.  A BIG thanks to the Fields family for their continued support of Hayfield football.)  This young lady is probably thinking "I wonder what Santa Claus is bringing me this year?" And this one is thinking about food! :)  Coach Bill Engels and Mrs. Bowman (Did you know that Coach Engels once won a Northern Region basketball championship?)  AD's Administrative Assistant Theresa Hayman & Amy Trimble. Senior standout Rayshawn Rigans accepts an award from Coach Pugh. Senior Marshall Evans receives a top game performance miniature helmet. Likewise for Senior Standout Anton McCallum; Junior Jason Stewart.; Freshman Wesley Scott; Soph. Hayden Knudson; Soph. Steve Lynch;  Junior Justin Marshall (PLayoff game vs. Marshall);  Rayshawn Rigans;. Coach Robert Scott. Coach Jacob Dowdell. coach Michael Graham.  Coach John Blevins. Coach Alonzo Cliatt. Coach Toby Pickett and Coach Willie McCallum. Winner of the Klepic Award, Sr. Alex Merino (Note:  Alex was also a first team All-District selection as an offensive lineman.)  Coach Cliatt recognizes the achievements of arguably two of the most talented offensive players in the region, Rayshawn Rigans and Anton McCallum.  (Cmt: These two young men combined for over 3,200 yards on offense and 40 TDs during the regular season. Keep in mind that in a number of games they were removed from competition as early as the  third quarters due to lopsided scores. as the Hawks coaches displayed sportsmanship toward their opponents.) Powerful Junior  DL Ryan Murphy is recognized for his All-District selection.  Coach Pugh recognizes the effort of Mrs. Stribling for organizing the team dinners as well as taking care of the concession stand every week for all three levels. Senior Carson Giammaria. HIs leadership and heart will be severely missed by the team.
