Tough Tussle with Titans Terminates in Tie (2-2)

The Lady Hawks led through much of the game, but a late score sent the game into double overtime with the game ending in a tie.

Majors Late goal topples Lady Hawks

A goal scored by Mt. Vernon with less than a minute to play gave them a 2-1 victory over our Lady Hawks.  Once again, the lady Hawks dug in after falling behind early in the game to tie the game, playing tough until the last minute score by Mt. Vernon.

Lady Hawks give it their all, fall at Lake Braddock (0-2)

Against a very tough Lake Braddock team, the injury plagued Hayfield girls really dug down deep after falling behind by two goals in the first half. Once again, the girls didn’t quit—holding the Bruins to no further scores. In the difficult period when injured players are healing, the team is developing in skill and depth.

Valiant effort by our Lady Hawks at West Potomac (0-2)

Team cannot overcome two early goals by the Wolverines.

With injuries continuing to plague the team, the Lady Hawks really stepped up.  After two quick goals by West Potomac in the first five minutes of the game, hayfield  rallied and played even with the Wolverines the rest of the game.  Although unable to overcome the two point deficit from early in the game, the girls coming off the bench stepped in for the injured players and quickly adapted. The invaluable experience gained should make the team stronger  as the injured players return to active status.
